This is a Yellow Apatite thumbnail from Cerro de Mercado in Durango, Mexico. Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral with a hardness of 5. It has a hexagonal (trigonal) crystal system and can come in blue, green, and golden (each having its own metaphysical power). This particular piece used to be a part of the renowned Craig Wibirt's collection. It features a well formed apatite crystal with an excellent termination. The stone has been left with some of the original host rock, which is quartz in this instance, which gives the stone a bit more of an aesthetic appeal.
Overall Apatite enhances knowledge, manifestation, and revitalization.
This piece measures approximately 3.0cm x 2.2cm x 1.2cm and comes with a complimentary "perky box" and display card listing the stone name and locale.
