This is a small cluster of Rhodochrosite from the Uchucchacua Mine, Lima Dept. Peru. Uchucchacua Mine is primarily a silver mine which is known to produce Rhodochrosite with stunning, deep electric red color every few years. This locale is undoubtedly one of the top 3 producers for Rhodochrosite, a must have for any collector. This specimen has one large crystal at the top, surrounded by a number of smaller ones.
This specimen is approximately 5cm x 3.5cm x 3cm. You will also receive a label card with the mineral name and the locale where it was mined.
