Rhodonite forms in metamorphic rocks that are rich in manganese, subjected to high temperatures and pressures, which causes the transformation of minerals into rhodonite. The finest specimens are found in Brazil, which are known for their deep, ruby-red color and large, gemmy crystals.
Associated with the heart chakra and is used to soothe emotional wounds, calm stress, and promote compassion, forgiveness, and inner peace. The stone also has protective qualities and can aid in finding one's life purpose and staying grounded.
