This is an amethyst crystal point mined in Bolivia. It has polished sides to accentuate the natural termination of the crystal. Amethyst is a variety of quartz that has small amounts of iron in the crystal lattice and has been exposed to gamma radiation at some point during its formation. This point sits on its side and has a light ametrine core that can be seen in the light - very unique and beautiful!
This amethyst point is approximately 6 in x 3 in x 3 in at the tallest and longest points.
