This is a free-standing amethyst crystal point mined in Bolivia. It has polished sides to accentuate the natural termination of the crystal. Amethyst is a variety of quartz that has small amounts of iron in the crystal lattice and has been exposed to gamma radiation at some point during its formation. This point is particularly tall, and features another amethyst point attached to the side that has been polished all the way up to the large point. It would be perfect for an accent display, on a crystal grid or shrine, or as part of a mineral collection!
This amethyst point is approximately 6.5 in x 5.5 in x 4 in at the tallest and longest points.
