This is a specimen of Grossular Garnet from China. Grossular garnet has the widest variety of colors it can be in the garnet family. This is because it usually contains trace amounts of the other garnet varieties in it, which is where it gets the colors from. This one is a rather colorless piece with some yellow and deeper tones coming through.
