This is a Green Fluorite from the Xiang Huapu Mine in the Hunan Province of China. China is well known for their fluorites and Hunan in particular produces some very high quality green varieties. This particular piece has the quintessential green color from this region. It features a main crystal growing in an octohedral formation with secondary growth on top with an interesting stair-step formation.
