This is a Men's Seam Agate Ring in a size 12. Agate is a form of micro-crystalline quartz with a hardness of 7. It has a wide variety of colors. Seam Agate is a brown and red variety with transparent sections, giving the illusion of a "seam". This particular ring features a pear cut cabochon with interesting patterns in the brown sections and nice "lacy" red banding around the milky transparent section. It has a cut out on the side of the band in a triangle shape. The silver sections that make up this triangle join together to be one solid band all the way around the back.
