It is a Quartz family member with a hardness of 6.5-7 and has a hexagonal (trigonal) crystal system. Colorful patterns vary with polka dots, banding, and wavy lines occurring in a wide variety of colors. This particular pair is a light pink and white with mustard yellow orbs and nice banding in parts of the earrings.
