Golden mica forms through hydrothermal processes or high-grade metamorphism, where hot, mineral-rich fluids (loaded with potassium, aluminum, and iron) penetrate cracks in igneous rocks like granite or pegmatite. As the fluids cool slowly, they crystallize into layered sheets, with oxidized iron providing its distinct gold color.
