Black Tourmaline Cluster (Schorl)

This is a cluster of black tourmaline, also known as schorl. Schorl is unique because, unlike other tourmaline varieties, it is never transparent. The name had been around since before the 1400s, coming from the original name of a town in Germany where it was mined - this town is now known as 'Zchorlau'. This specimen features multiple schorl crystals grown together, some terminated but all with a very shiny lustre.

Enhances purification, protection, & is an 'etheric vacuum cleaner' by eliminating negativity.
