Unakite, commonly referred to as "Unakite Jasper" is actually not a jasper at all, but is instead an altered granite made up of pink-orange orthoclase feldspar, green epidote, and quartz. First discovered in the Unakas Mountains of North Carolina, where it gets its name.
A stone of fertility, said to help ease the pain of childbirth and ensure the baby is healthy throughout pregnancy. Also aids with creativity and "birthing" projects into existence.
