This is a tourmaline specimen from Cruzeiro Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It was mined from a pocket in 1998, making this an old find collector's specimen. This mineral features a beautiful, deep blue body with light-purple zoning on the multi-terminated top. There is also a 'sidecar' crystal intergrown to the top, that has a blue exterior and a light purple-pink interior. Cruzeiro Mine is known for producing high-quality polychromic tourmaline, and this specimen is no exception!
This specimen is approximately 30mm x 25mm x 15mm. You will also receive a display card with the mineral name and the locale where it was mined.
