This is a specimen of bicolor tourmaline from Cruzeiro Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Cruzeiro Mine is known for their high quality tourmaline specimens, particularly polychrome specimens, and this piece comes from a well known 1998 find. It is a light blue color with purple zoning on the multi-terminated top. It also has two smaller sidecar crystals on the side. This specimen is virtually damage free, and due to the rare combinations of color, tourmaline of this variety is a rare and unique addition to any collection.
This specimen is approximately 32mm x 14mm x 8mm. You will also receive a display card with the mineral name and the locale where it was mined.
