Regular priceSale price
The piece is a Sapphire on Diopside from Morogoro, Tanzania. Sapphire is the non-red variety of corundum, ruby being the red. It has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. This particular sapphire has a lovely lilac color to it which is different than the traditional blue. There are two main Sapphires on here almost touching so it almost looks like one. One sits on top of the cluster and the other one fills in the gap caused by the Diopside. The Diopside is colorless and formed in a nice cluster, giving this piece an awesome display.
This piece measures approximately 8.0cm long x 4.8cm wide x 4.8cm tall
