This is an amethyst crystal point mined in Bolivia. It has polished sides to accentuate the natural termination of the crystal and a flat base for easy display. Amethyst is a variety of quartz that has small amounts of iron in the crystal lattice and has been exposed to gamma radiation at some point during its formation.
This amethyst point is approximately 4.5 in x 4 in x 2.75 in at the tallest and longest points.
