These frog carvings are made of jadeite. Jadeite is a component of true jade, along with nephrite. The jadeite has a beautiful marbling that is usually green but can sometimes feature red, purple or brown. The frog has a slit in it's mouth to hold a coin, which supposedly draws in wealth when placed in the home or business. The jadeite is sourced and carved in China.
The frog is approximately 8cm long x 5.5cm wide x 5cm tall.
