Regular priceSale price
Smithsonite is a zinc carbonate mineral and used to be called Hemimorphite until James Smith discovered they were different minerals, and it was named in his honor. This is an awesome specimen that originally formed purple Smithsonite and then blue formed on top of it. Bits of the purple still show through the blue which allows you to see both layers.
This piece measures approximately 8.3 cm x 4.8cm x 2.2cm
