Regular priceSale price
This is a thumbnail specimen of an azurite crystal from Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico. It features a quality deep blue hue, terminations on the intergrown crystals and visible growth patterns. Azurite is a secondary copper mineral that is soft and usually found in very small crystal formations, making crystalline azurite like this more uncommon. Azurite is often pseudomorphed with malachite, and a small amount can be seen on the matrix at the base of the azurite.
This specimen is approximately 1.5cm tall x 2cm wide x 1cm thick. You will also receive a free 'perky' display box with a clear lid and a label featuring the crystal name and the mining locale.
