This is a thumbnail specimen of an azurite cluster from Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico. It features a quality deep blue hue, terminations, and visible growth patterns. Azurite is a secondary copper mineral that is soft and usually found in very small crystal formations, making crystalline azurite like this more uncommon. Azurite is often pseudomorphed with malachite, and two are often found together.
This specimen is approximately 3cm long at the longest point x 2cm wide x 1cm thick. You will also receive a free 'perky' display box and a label featuring the crystal name and the mining locale.
