The cougar (Puma concolor), or Mountain Lion is a large cat of the subfamily Felinae. It is native to the Americas and spans from the Canadian Yukon to the Southern Andes in South America. It is the most widespread of any large wild terrestrial mammal in the Western Hemisphere.
This skull was ethically sourced from Wyoming. It is unfused, meaning that the top of the skull and the jaw are separate for full articulation and examination. It measures approximately 8cm x 5.5xm x 3.5 cm.
