This awesome Wavelite specimen comes from Mauldin Mt., Montgomery Co., Arkansas. Wavelite is an aluminum phosphate mineral that typically forms in a botryoidal nature. This piece is mainly green and has hints of yellow in it as well. The Wavelite formed in tiny crystals, giving this piece a glittery druzy effect when you turn it. The really unusual thing about this piece is that the host rock formed botryoidally as well.
This piece measures approximately 8.2cm x 6.3cm x 3.2cm
