This is a Pink Smithsonite Specimen from Tsumeb, Namibia. Smithsonite is a zinc-carbonate mineral, and the variation in color is caused by the zinc being partially replaced by other elements, such as cobalt or copper. This specimen has a soft pink color variation and displays nicely.
