The name had been around since before the 1400s, coming from the original name of a town in Germany where it was mined - this town is now known as 'Zchorlau'. This specimen has a vitreous luster and a fantastic double termination, where one of the visible faces has some very aesthetic growth patterns on the surface.
This specimen is approximately 3.5cm x 6cm x 4cm. You will also receive a a label card with the mineral name and the locale where it was mined.
