This is a thumbnail specimen of azurite from Los Olivos Mine, Municipio Valle de Rosario, Mun. de Rosario, Chihuahua, Mexico. It consists of an aggregated mass of bladed crystals that have grown into a rounded, aesthetic form. Azurite is a secondary copper mineral that is soft and usually found in very small crystal formations, making crystalline azurite like this more uncommon. Azurite is often pseudomorphed with malachite, and the two are often found together.

This specimen is approximately 2cm x 1.5cm x 1cm. You will also receive a complimentary 'perky' display box and a label with the mineral name and the locale where it was mined.
